Why Do You Travel?

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.” – Nelson Mandela

Feeling philosophical this week, I could write more than you want to read about why people travel. But first, honestly, I would like to hear why YOU travel.

I would love to have you write back with your first thoughts on this question. Don’t worry about covering all the waterfront. Just “blurt it out” via reply. You might see your thoughts repeated anonymously in a future post. This could be very interesting!

So, why do you travel?

To find something?

To re-discover something?

To lose something?

To make space in your life?

To make up for lost time?

To ease itchy feet, or itchy mind?

To connect?

To disconnect?

To see a new horizon?

To do your job?

Discuss, and report to me please. I really want to know! Thank you.
